How do I book a camper?

Booking your getaway is easy! Visit Our Fleet page or Check Availability, select Haven, choose your preffered dates, and follow the online booking process. Once your reservation is confirmed, we'll help you prepare for your upcoming stay.

How much does it cost to rent Haven?

Accepted Answer

Our standard nightly rental rate starts at $175 per night, with rates subject to change based on season and availability. Additional charges include delivery and setup, a mandatory cleaning fee, applicable taxes, and any optional extras you choose.  Your booking summary will provide a bearkdown of your charges before you complete your reservation.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes! We require a minimum reservation of two nights. This allows you plenty of time to settle in, relax, and enjoy your camping experience.

Is a deposit required to book?

Accepted Answer

Your reservation requires the payment indicated during online checkout. Any remaining rental balance is due seven days before your scheduled arrival. A seperate refundable hold of a security deposit is also required.

Is there a refundable security deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. we require a $500 hold or security deposit to cover potential damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or other charges outlined in your rental agreement. The deposit will be returned or released following your stay, provided the camper is returned in satisfactory condition and all rental terms have been met.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans sometimes change!Cancellations made 14 or more days before your scheduled arrival are eligible for a 50% refund of rental charges.Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are nonrefundable.We recommend contacting us as soon as possible if your plans change.

Can I change my reservation dates?

We will do our best to accommodate date changes whenever possible. All changes are subject to availability and any applicable rate differences.Please contact us as soon as you know your plans may need to change.

Question 8

What happens if my campground cancels my reservation?

Accepted Answer

Because campground reservations are made independently, guests are responsible for confirming their campsite arrangements.If your campground cancels your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to help you explore alternative delivery locations, subject to availability and approval.Changes or cancellations to your Lakeshore Getaways reservation remain subject to our rental agreement and cancellation policy.

What happens if Haven becomes unavailable before my reservation?

Accepted Answer

Although we take every precaution to keep Haven maintained and ready for your stay, unexpected mechanical issues, damage, or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally affect availability.If we're unable to provide Haven for your confirmed reservation, we'll contact you as soon as possible and provide a full refund of the rental charges you've paid.We recommend considering travel insurance for any additional nonrefundable vacation expenses.

Question 10

Can we use Haven during the colder months?

Accepted Answer

Our typical camping season runs from April through November, depending on weather conditions and campground availability.Because Michigan weather can be unpredictable, rentals during colder temperatures may be limited to protect the camper's plumbing and water systems.Please contact us if you're planning a late-fall or early-spring getaway so we can discuss availability and campsite requirements.
